I composed this track around a melody that @gabigii made up on the spot. It is a mix of her vocals, a bamboo flute i made, a digiridoo, tibetan singing bowls, some synthesizers, and the rubbings of various desk objects. probably best in headphones or really dope speakers.

This is a piece I made for a piece called Encounter/Love by artist Saskia Friedrich. I played the guitar and record a multitude of small sounds originating from objects in my room. A theremin was used in conjunction with some shouting.

Through the processes of urbanization and capitalist enclosure, what were once communal landscapes, held in common amongst human and non-human agencies, have become concrete, anthropogenic inhumanities. Infinity Lupus (derived from the wolf’s latin name, Canis lupus), reverberates with the ghostly echoes of wolf conscious, seeking to give life to the voices of wolves now absent from urban environments. The piece points to the possibility of radical ecologies of belonging, in which, through the acknowledgement of one of our most ancient allies, the wolf, we are forced to reimagine our roles as human beings as aspects of the natural world, and acknowledge our interdependencies on the lives of other. Infinity Lupus consists of wolf howls recorded from nearby intact ecosystems and played at a high volume within the heart of urban areas. Infinite Lupus activates urban space as an emergent ecology composed of the lives of diverse cell types, and is directed as much at domestic dogs, as human beings.
